In the spirit of Christmas, our warmth was extended to those in need.
Our non-profit organization, CitizensACT, proudly organized the heartwarming ‘WARM HEARTS KEEP PEOPLE WARM!’ campaign, which aimed to collect essential items to provide comfort during the holiday season.
Throughout the campaign, we united as a community to make a difference in the lives of others. Generous contributions were made in various forms, including clothing, blankets, gloves, hats, scarves, and warm socks.
These items, often taken for granted, proved to be crucial necessities for many individuals enduring the cold winter months. Moreover, we recognized that irrespective of the weather, certain items remained of great importance to those in need. These included diapers, dry food such as pasta, rice, legumes, long-life food, personal hygiene products, and toys.
By providing these essentials, we aimed to overcome the challenges faced by those less fortunate.
During this remarkable campaign, it became evident that volunteerism knows no age limit. We were privileged to witness the active participation of our senior volunteers, who dedicated their time and effort to collect all kinds of essential items and help our work.
Their presence and commitment were truly inspiring, proving that the spirit of giving transcends generations.
The collection period spanned until Thursday, December 15th, 2022.
