Tree Planting
November 2022
Let’s make Ayia Varvara a greener place!
CitizensACT in collaboration with Emphasys Centre, the E.N.A.B. Youth Association, and the Hellenic Institute for Cultural Diplomacy of Cyprus, are excited to announce our upcoming tree-planting campaign at Larkoua Park in Agia Varvara!
📅 Date: 11th of March 2023
⏰ Time: 10:00 am
📍 Location: Larkoua Park, Agia Varvara (https://goo.gl/maps/HpaWvPLs3KegPu6R7)
Together, we can create a greener and more sustainable future for our community. Join us on March 11 at 10:00 am as we roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty for a worthy cause.
Why should you participate? Here are a two of the many reasons:
1. Environmental Impact: Trees play a vital role in combating climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. By planting trees, we contribute to cleaner air and a healthier environment for everyone.
2. Beauty and Shade: Trees enhance the aesthetics of our surroundings and provide shade during hot summer days. By planting trees, we create a more pleasant and comfortable environment for everyone to enjoy.
You will be provided with a shovel, hoe, buckets of water, gloves, the trees, and of course snacks and light refreshments!
Mark your calendars for March 11 at 10:00 am and meet us at Larkoua Park in Agia Varvara. Together, let’s make a difference, one tree at a time!
