Our culture is our world! We focus on preserving our culture and customs, promoting the talents of young people in the arts (music, poetry, drawing, dance, sculpture), exploring traditional music, organizing exhibitions or music events, utilizing the expertise of senior citizens, and sharing with the younger generation and providing open space for presentations of their work, on and offline. Our aim is to also offer free workshops to any citizen regardless of their age and background in arts to learn different types of art, such as pottery and crafting in groups allowing socialization and creativity.
The focus is on empowering young people with soft and employability skills needed by the labour market, supporting them to prepare their CV, presenting themselves, acquiring targeted competences such as social entrepreneurial skills or green entrepreneurship as well as promoting career orientation for people with disabilities or fewer opportunities.
We focus on promoting environmentally friendly mindsets for all citizens starting with youth, exploring consumption habits, rethinking about lifestyles, supporting eco-friendly households, reducing energy use and waste, caring for animals, and recycling through organizing events, activities, or participating in projects.
Among the activities, we focus on bringing the two generations together through inter-generational learning activities for digital inclusion, organising activities, promoting volunteering and mentoring, sharing expertise, and promoting traditions.
With multiculturalism being more and more present in our communities, it is essential to appreciate everyone’s own stories, experiences, and backgrounds, and feel more included and accepted in society. Through our activities and workshops, we aim to bring everyone together and give the opportunity to people (locals, migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, etc) to share and learn about different cultures. The goal is to make every citizen feel more comfortable and safer with these differences, allowing them to interact in a wider range of social groups and feel more confident in themselves as well as in their interactions with others.
Keeping, fit and healthy, both mentally and physically is among our aims and activities. We support the BeActive Initiative, as well as mental empowerment for all citizens, self-respect, motivational speeches, and boosting interactive outdoor explorations. Our aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle and a connection with nature!
